About
Investing for the lazy — and we mean that as a compliment.
dcaonchain is for people who want to invest, then get on with their life. Set it once; it runs by itself. It is built for two beliefs at once: decentralization — your vault is a smart contract you own on Robinhood Chain and your keys never leave your wallet — and a certain trust in Robinhood's tokenized stocks as the underlying.
Two temperaments, both honest: Plain DCA (the default) buys the whole universe every period — stoic acceptance of the market; Smart DCA (opt-in) buys only when assets are cheap vs their long-run average — the defensive overlay, with its trade-offs published openly on the backtest page.
A valuation-aware bot buys selected stock tokens for you, automatically, when they are cheap against their long-run average — and holds cash when nothing is. It will try to buy at good prices. That is all we promise. No returns are guaranteed, and the market owes nobody anything. DYOR.
- Self-custody: your vault, your keys. The automated keeper can buy, never withdraw.
- Fees, plainly: an entry fee on deposits only — 0.5% for the first 100 founding vaults (locked into your contract forever), 1% after. Withdrawals are always 0%.
- Exit anytime: pause, revoke the keeper, or withdraw everything yourself — no gatekeeper.
What this is — and is not
- The smart-DCA valuation overlay is a hypothesis, not a proven edge.
- Stock Tokens are tokenized debt securities issued by a Robinhood entity — economic exposure, not share ownership.
- An automation tool, not a profit product. You are responsible for eligibility and taxes in your jurisdiction; not available where prohibited.
Named after two songs about doing nothing gracefully: Lazy (Deep Purple) and Mad Man Moon (Genesis).
